DHARMA RISING MALAYSIA - GLOBAL HINDU THOUGHT LEADERS CONFERENCE
“Transforming Temples and NGOs as Centres of Excellence for Seva and Education”
18 & 19 April 2020 at Asia Pacific University in Kuala Lumpur.
To be held in Malaysia, a land known as “truly Asia”, this conference is indeed a long time coming and not to be missed.
After all, Malaysia bears the largest number of active Hindu temples in the world, outside of India and Nepal. It is home to the most ancient Dharmic temple to be discovered by archaeologists outside the Indian subcontinent. And on its soil stands one of the tallest and finest Hindu temple statues to be seen anywhere on Earth.
It is therefore most auspicious that the Global Hindu Thought Leaders Conference now comes to Kuala Lumpur to deliberate over a critical issue affecting the Hindu community worldwide today - the revival of our temples.
How can the Hindu temple rise again to become an exemplary centre for humanitarian service? How can Hindu temples and NGOs become leaders in providing social and cultural upliftment together with spiritual development for the people? How do we reawaken our great ancient heritage and wisdom in the 21st century and beyond?
Delegates from far corners are expected to converge in Kuala Lumpur in April to connect, network and discuss this vital issue as well as other related matters of importance to Hinduism for present and future generations.
Conducted in English, the conference is organised by the Global Hindu Heritage Organisation (GHHO) in association with the Global Hindu Federation (GHF).
